Making Agricultural Products Locally Essential Act (MAPLE) Act This bill includes maple syrup as one of the eligible foods under the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). Expansion of the seniors farmers’ market nutrition program Section 4402(b)(1) of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 ( 7 U.S.C. 3007(b)(1) ) is amended by striking and herbs and inserting herbs, and maple syrup .
